Job Description
Savannah River National Laboratory is seeking a highly motivated Project Coordinator to assist the Director's Office and other Senior Leadership in tracking and coordinating the execution of laboratory wide initiatives. This position will foster collaboration to accomplish an outcome through cross organizational teams. The ability to plan and track progress, flexibility and the ability to manage change in a dynamic organization are all critical skills required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and coordination of programs and their activities. Includes leading the development of project/program plans and schedules for laboratory wide initiatives.
- Develop dashboards to inform others on status.
- Monitor implementation of program policies and practices.
- Diagnoses issues using a systematic and methods approach.
- Maintains mutually beneficial partnerships with multiple functions across the laboratory.
- Builds collaboration using persuasion.
- Seeks support for programs/projects from across the laboratory.
- Does not manage employees, but may mentor others.
- Arrives at conclusion based on previous experiences and good judgment.
- Works safely with particular attention to quality and attention to detail.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS/BA + 7-9 yrs of relevant experience
- For ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, US Citizenship is LegallyRequired
- Experience in schedule development and business metrics utilizing P6, Power BI or other tracking and trending tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex issues to leaders, team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively across functions and teams while building trusted relationships and positively influencing others.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to think critically, develop creative solutions. and resolve conflicts.
Preferred Qualifications
- DOE or National Laboratory experience
