What You'll Do
The Infrastructure Projects Specialist position is responsible for contributing to the roll-out of various software and application initiatives for the Infrastructure organization. This individual will work closely with members from the Continuous Improvement organization as well as Infrastructure staff from various areas to seamlessly execute projects identified to increase process capacity and capability. This will include projects such as new scheduling software, SAP applications and mobile worker.
- Develops plans and executes roll-out to the organization.
- Supports the identification of inefficiencies and/or other relevant issues during the progress of the improvement actions.
- Performs data analysis and provides recommendations for changes or adjustments.
- Assists with establishing and/or maintaining goals/metrics for improvement efforts and/or performing analysis of performance.
- Other job duties as assigned/requested

Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- OR Master's degree.
- OR Applicants without a bachelor's degree may be considered based on a combination of at least 8 years of completed education and/or relevant experience.
Preferred Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree: Minimum 2 years relevant experience.
- Broad knowledge of Infrastructure operations and a demonstrated understanding of procedures and requirements compliance relative to the organization.
- Detailed understanding of SAP HANA, with specific regard to the use as the Computerized Maintenance Management System
- Demonstrated computer skills and proficiency with the Microsoft Office products and ability to retrieve information from various sources
- Requires a high level of personal motivation
- A customer service focus and the ability to work within changing situations to meet short deadlines is required.
- A broad knowledge of requirements and processes related to Infrastructure.
- Experience in establishing and successfully managing paper-based or electronic records systems is required including a working knowledge of technical and non-technical documentation standards.

Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.
Position may require entry into Materials Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (HRP). If HRP is required, candidate must complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph, pursuant to 10CFR 709. Medical requirements may apply.
