Job Description
SRNL’s Technology Partnerships Office (TPO) seeks a dynamic and resourceful External Partner Program Coordinator to join the team at our new Advanced Manufacturing Collaborative (AMC) facility – Advanced Manufacturing Collaborative - Savannah River National Laboratory . As the first point of contact for potential and existing partners, you will play a critical role in shaping their experience, coordinating visits, and fostering meaningful collaborations. You’ll work closely with the AMC Director, internal scientists and engineers, and external stakeholders to design and support initiatives that attract new partnerships and strengthen existing ones.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new and prospective partners visiting the AMC facility.
- Coordinate partner visits, including scheduling, facility tours, and follow-ups.
- Support the design and execution of events such as Industry Days, innovation workshops, and partner showcases. (maybe include entrepreneurial programming?)
- Assist the AMC Director with reports, presentations, and detailed project coordination.
- Facilitate effective communication between AMC scientists/engineers and external partners to ensure productive collaborations.
- Help identify potential partnership opportunities and assist in building long-term relationships.
- Maintain an organized system for tracking partnerships, visits, and project outcomes.
Secondary responsibilities include the general support of commercialization activities at SRNL. Including:
- Promote staff engagement with the commercialization process;
- Support commercialization program development
- Support programs such as Energy I-Corps and the DOE Technology Commercialization Fund (TCF); and
- Work collaboratively with the broader partnerships team at SRNL to ensure partnership agreements comply with DOE regulations.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, engineering, communications) and 4-6 years of relevant experience.

- For ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, US Citizenship is Legally Required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interface professionally with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience coordinating events, meetings, or partner engagements is a plus.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, research-focused environment.
- Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in technical field or MBA plus 2 years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with advanced manufacturing or R&D environments.
- Experience working with a national laboratory, government-funded projects, or intellectual property development.
