Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Apply pesticides and assist in animal control in accordance with Integrated Pest Management Practices.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• High School or GED, or higher.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a CDL Class B with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Must satisfactorily complete the required 30-hour core course of instruction and core exam and the required categories specific instructional exams required by the laboratory within 30 days of hire.
Other Requirements:
• Ability to do moderate lifting, less than 30 lbs.
• Ability to do heavy lifting, more than 30 lbs.
• Physical coordination and balance.
• Use of respirator.
• Use of protective clothing.
• Must meet the medical requirements of the “Job Assessment Form".
• Must have a telephone and must provide the number to BNL for callout and contact purposes.
• Must possess written and verbal skills.
• Must be capable of following written instruction procedures, work orders, and similar documents.
• Must possess the writing skills to sufficiently complete work orders and other required documents.
• Must be able to communicate verbally with customers, fellow workers, and supervisors.
• Must have had a verifiable “acceptable leave record” in prior employment.
• Must be able to complete all the requirements of the Job Training Assessment.
Environmental, Health, and Safety Requirements:
• Standing, bending and lifting.
