What You'll Do
- Evaluates future needs of facilities and processes for operations.
- Compiles and presents information on estimated cost to upgrade/build facilities.
- Pursues funding sources for upgrades and buildings to improve process operations.
- Identifies issues and tracks tasks to correct the issues for upgrading/building facilities.
- Leads team meetings and prepares status reports for assigned area of responsibility.
- Maintains and tracks specifi ed production metrics related to facilities and processes for operations.
- Evaluates special projects and initiatives before accepting scope for the Division to ensure there will not be anyimpacts to the Operations schedule and ensures appropriate funding is available.
- Attends meetings and speaks on behalf of the assigned organization.
- Supports initiatives/meetings with management around the plant.
- Manages Operations Integrated Schedule to ensure work activities can be performed as scheduled.
- Oversees compliance and status tracking of startup, restart, relocation, and staging acitivities in a manufacturing environment.
- Oversee planning of maintenance and outage impacts to operations.
Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience. (Typical experience ranging from 7 to 10 years.)
- OR Master's Degree with: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience. (Typical experience ranging from 7 to 10 years.)
- OR PhD.
- NOTE: Applicants without a Bachelor's Degree may be considered based on a combination of at least 12 or more years of completed education and/or relevant experience.

Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.
Position may require entry into Materials Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (HRP). If HRP is required, candidate must complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph, pursuant to 10 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 709. Medical requirements may apply.
