What You'll Do
Requirements
This position is responsible for the implementation of company requirements for Finance & Business Operations (F&BO) procedures. In addition, this role:
- Maintains tracking of all F&BO procedures and provides guidance to process owners regarding documentation of their processes.
- Coordinates the review and issuance of F&BO procedures. As part of supporting the procedures process, responsibilities will include coordinating the documentation of compliance with applicable laws, and ensuring contractual and corporate requirements through the Requirements Compliance Assurance Matrix are met.
Additional Financial Controls Responsibilities Will Include
- Performing capital and expense funding determinations on equipment/software/projects in accordance with applicable financial policies.
- Performing internal controls reviews (such as system access requests), coordinating monthly floor checks to assess compliance to time entry/time approval procedures, time approval training reviews, and annual internal control testing as required by the Federal Managers Financial Integrity Act (FMFIA).
- Compiling cost correction data on a monthly basis and performing trend analysis to identify potential areas of concern.
- Compiling ad hoc reporting as needed.
- Maintaining the F&BO website.

Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance related field: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience OR
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance related field: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Thirteen or more years of relevant education, training, and/or progressive experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years of experience for this posting.
