What You'll Do
Responsibilities And Work Include But Not Limited To
- Controls access to Pantex
- Protects sensitive or personal privacy information from unauthorized disclosure
- Assists teammates and customers
- Uses Microsoft Office, government and local databases
- Operates access control equipment such as cameras, badging machines, printers, and fingerprint scanners.
- Works safely and securely in an environment with constant interruption or redirection
- Displays a high standard of attention to detail and focus on procedural requirements
- Gathers data from multiple sources to grant or deny access based on a review of information and documents
- Manages time and tasks without constant direct supervision. Provides highest levels of customer service in a very busy, public environment. Interacts with all levels of site populations and visitors daily
- Responsible for maintaining a thorough knowledge of applicable Federal, State, Department of Energy (DOE), Corporate and Plant rules, regulations and Plant-wide operating policies and procedures
- Recommends, prepares, and maintains operating procedures, systems, policies, and controls pertaining to the assigned area of responsibility
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Required to attend and/or successfully complete training classes as determined by the Training and Development Technologies Department, through General Employee Training (Reference Department of Energy Order 426.2), and Management
- Participates in worker involvement including input to work planning and methods to identify hazards and controls
- Understands a worker’s right to stop work when they feel their own or other’s personal safety is jeopardized
- Attends all required safety meetings and training
- Offers suggestions on improvements to the work environment
- Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Job Requirements
- High school diploma: Minimum 7 years of relevant experience. Typical relevant experience ranging from 7-10 years.
- OR Associate degree in related discipline: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
