What You'll Do
Responsibilities
The Records System Analyst will be responsible for providing support to clients with electronic records management storage systems. This includes analyzing, diagnosing, trending, monitoring, and resolving intermediate problems or issues relating to workstation, network, server, user management, cloud services administration, and administration of various Versatile provided services. The Records System Analyst will provide support via phone, email, Instant Messaging (internal users), and remote desktop services. The Analyst will also respond within a timely manner within pre-determined solutions and provide detailed diagnostic and/or remediation information. In addition, this position is responsible to:
- Support maintenance of quality assurance (QA), development (DEV), and production (PROD) environments of V/ERMS, in collaboration with Information Technology (IT) technical database administrators and technical leads.
- Develop and implement health of the system (HOTS) analyses to support system integrity and reliability.
- Utilize technical expertise associated with applicable software to perform on-line data extraction, data analysis, and information, and prepare information abstracts and executive summaries of material searched as required.
- Provide necessary configuration change requests in support of emerging system functional requirements.
- Investigate and seek resolution to system anomalies, errors, and performance issues in response to customer complaints, erroneous test results, and other irregularities.
- Develop, perform, and maintain test plans, scripts, and acceptance testing documentation.
- Develop and employ understanding of business processes and needs, requirements, and priorities, in order to define system requirements and to initiate necessary system changes.
- Develop and deliver applicable training courses, create and publish helpful tools and aids, and support development of and/or enhancement to automated tools utilized to compliantly manage records.
- Employ continuous improvement program elements to assist in driving continuous improvements related to the execution of the Records Management Program.
- Provide guidance on policies, regulations, and agency guidelines relative to records management requirements.
- Interpret requirements for maintenance of physical and electronic records throughout life-cycle.
- Lead and/or assist with the promulgation of requirements through flow-down to applicable command media documents.
- Promote and support compliant records management practices for records of all media types across the enterprise.
- Ensure procedures and processes are in place to categorize, schedule, maintain, and disposition records.
- Perform analysis of records management activities among Company organizations through performance of organizational surveillances and management assessments.
- Work directly with operation entities to provide process analyses oversight on a continuing basis to enforce requirements.
- Assist organizations with records management related audit responses.

Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- OR Master's degree: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
Preferred Job Requirements
- Demonstrated understanding and application of records management requirements and governing flow-down documents, digitization/scanning processes, digitization/scanning hardware, and digitization/scanning software applications; working knowledge of electronic records management technologies and applications.
- Demonstrated competency in both oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated experience developing professional relationships and working in a team and customer service environment to achieve and effect successful completion of job assignments in support of the company mission.
- Good working knowledge and understanding of the company business and operations support, processes, policies, and procedures, or equivalent transferrable skills.
- Familiarity with classified information and document handling requirements with both physical documents/records and classified information systems.
- Skilled in the use of various office computer software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Electronic Database Management Systems (EDMS) desired.
