Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Proposal Coordinator to work in our Business Management department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our Idaho Falls EROB facility with every other Friday off. The Proposal Coordinator will execute strategy in support of providing INL researchers with expertise, tools, and training to improve the overall quality and compliance of INL-submitted proposals, while coordinating efforts for funding opportunity submissions. You will report to the Proposal Management Program Manager. Responsibilities Include: - Facilitate the proposal process by monitoring proposal deadlines, reviews, approvals, and directorate submissions. - Implementation of strategies for communicating and monitoring compliance with Laboratory and DOE policies and procedures for proposal development and submission. - Provide proactive outreach and communication to stakeholders on opportunities, new policies and procedures, and updated guidelines. - Provide support to researchers for navigating various business systems. - Collaborate with stakeholders on strategic plans for incoming work. - Acts as a resource for compliance questions and issues using existing knowledge, experience, and available resources (e.g., sponsor regulations, Laboratory policies) for supporting and/or providing guidance to researchers and other contributors. - Provide advice, guidance, and support to proposal development teams. - Performs quality/compliance checks on proposal submittal packages, as needed. - Support the Laboratory in navigating and educating proposals development teams on incoming work (sponsor) policies, procedures, tools, and systems. - Work with leadership to coordinate with various departments such as Legal, Technology Deployment, Research and Development Directorates, Export Control, and other necessary departments to ensure INL’s business interests are protected throughout the proposal process. - Prepare and deliver proposal related training initiatives in areas such as policy, capture management, requirement identification, compliance, budget, and scope/narrative development. - Drives continuous improvements and change management for incoming work processes.
