Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is hiring an Occupational Safety and Health (OS&H) Program Manager for our Environment, Safety, Health and Quality (ESH&Q) group. Our team works a 9/80 schedule located at our Idaho Falls Facility with every other Friday off. You will report to the Occupational Safety and Health Director. You will lead and manage our OS&H program activities, which include Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Fire Protection, and Explosive Safety programs. The successful candidate will manage and lead a high-functioning multidisciplinary OS&H team of subject matter experts (SMEs) and authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs) and will work with the OS&H Director to ensure the OS&H programs are developed, assessed, and maintained. Responsibilities: - Team Management: Lead and manage the OS&H program SMEs and staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment. - Communication and Coordination: Maintain effective communication with key stakeholders (INL Mission Centers) and coordinate necessary resources (budget, manpower, expertise, equipment) to execute the development, implementation, and assessment of assigned OS&H processes. - Safety Integration: Incorporate safety, fire protection, industrial hygiene, and explosive safety requirements into mission/line work, ensuring hazards are identified, controls established, and risks mitigated. - Deficiency Resolution: Document, track, and resolve OS&H deficiencies in a timely manner. - Technical Decision-Making: Make timely and critical OS&H technical decisions. - Administrative Duties: Approve staff timecards and schedules, manage training plans, and conduct performance evaluations. - Budget Management: Develop and execute the OS&H budget, ensuring deliverables are completed on schedule and within budget.
