CPCCO is seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator. The qualified candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate payment of purchase orders, contract, and general invoices for CPCCO in accordance with company policies and purchase order/contract terms and conditions
An Accounts Payable Administrator specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- Process purchase orders, contracts and general invoice payments;
- Interface with procurement personnel and outside vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies;
- Review general payment invoices for allowability in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations and CPCCO policies;
- Monitor outstanding vendor credits to ensure prompt collection;
- Scan and index invoices;
- Open, sort and distribute department mail;
- Support audits;
- Comply with CPCCO and departmental policies and procedures;
- Prepare journal entries; and perform other duties as assigned
- Assist with:
- monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts;
- obtaining and analyzing cost detail backup;
- Maintenance of various SharePoint and Excel databases.
Basic Qualifications
- Grade 6: High School plus 8 years of relevant experience.
- Grade 7: High School plus 10 years of relevant experience.
The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, and more importantly Excel).
- Proficient with QuickBooks or any other AP/AR software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, and ability to effectively interact with and convey information to company personnel and management.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment with attention to detail.
- Motivated to learn, have a questioning attitude, and be forward thinking.
Compensation & Benefits
In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.
Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week):
- Grade 6: $53,413 - $67,338.
- Grade 7: $58,825 - $74,175.
In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.

In accordance with the Service Contract Act, this position is also eligible for the health & welfare wage adder.
