Overview:
We are seeking a High Flux Isotope Reactor (HFIR) Scheduling Manager who will focus on scheduling and execution of Operations and Maintenance activities during operating and outage time frames as required to achieve HFIR Safety, Predictability, and Availability goals. This position reports to the HFIR Plant Manager within the Research Reactors Division (RRD), Neutron Sciences Directorate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL).
As part of our team, you will ensure the schedule processes for daily Plan of the Day (POD) and outage management are completed and support the RRD mission to provide safe, reliable and efficient HFIR operation in support of the neutron science mission.

Major Duties/Responsibilities:

Manages the POD to coordinate, control, prioritize, and direct Maintenance and Operations activities, including facilitating applicable meetings.

Providing guidance to HFIR work groups to ensure appropriate activity planning, coordination, execution, and documentation.
