Soil and Groundwater Operations is seeking an Operations Manager. Your primary duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible to ensure safe and compliant operation of assigned pump and treat facility(s).
- Establish priorities to ensure facility(s) are functioning at highest level possible.
- Support development of training of employees, work packages, and procedures.
- Fulfil role as Responsible/Functional Manager for implementation of work packages and procedures.
- Manage a team of bargaining unit and exempt employees.
- Prepare work packages, preparation of Correction Action Management documents, interface with procedure
Development And Other General Operations Functions.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and provide technical guidance on repair method and /or operating techniques.
- Analyze equipment and systems problems to determine corrective actions to return equipment and systems to normal service.
- Support construction activities in the form of work package development, work release, oversight, and startup testing. Administer Lock and Tag.
- Maintain knowledge of safety policies, procedures, and perform assigned duties in a safe manner to ensure compliance with established safety policies and procedures.
- Able to work shift work if assigned.
- Interface with other groups to ensure all programmatic requirements are being met.
- Support long term planning and special projects as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- Manager Grade 21 - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience plus 10 years of relevant experience.
- Manager Grade 22 - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience plus 12 years of relevant experience.
The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in managing an operating facility.
- Experience in implementation of Lock and Tag.
- Strong electrical safety background.
- Thorough understanding of pumps and piping systems.
Compensation & Benefits
In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.
Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week):
- Grade 21: $138,700 - $174,900
- Grade 22: $155,625 - $204,775
In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
