At Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo), located in Richland, Washington, we are working to provide a sustainable future for the historic Hanford area through the protection of the Columbia River and the remediation of the Central Plateau. A day in the life of an Activity Manager involve, but not limited to the following:
- Provide direction to subcontract and CPCCo resources to meet critical path needs for start-up activities, readiness reviews, qualifications and training, and procedure production and validation.
- Overseeing and providing mentoring and direction to staff performing procedure development - including restricted use validation - and training material development.
- Providing technical oversight of start-up activities, ensuring that procedure and training material development meet project needs and expectations.
- Providing strategy input and support for start-up activity deliverable development, scheduling, readiness reviews, and project implementation.
- Leading Training and Procedure program and process improvements.
- Function as Subject Matter Expert for training development software.
- Leading program assessments, identifying program weaknesses, and developing corrective action plans.
Basic Qualifications
- Career Grade 20: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience plus 8 or more years of relevant experience.
- Senior Grade 21: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience plus 10 or more years of relevant experience.
The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience managing project scope and schedule.
- Experience with Training and Procedures program requirements (e.g., DOE O 426.2, DOE O 422.1, Procedure Professional Association (PPA) requirements, etc.)
- PPA certification
- Training development software experience, including VISION.
Compensation & Benefits
In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.
Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week):
- Career Level Grade 20: $126,025 - $158,875
- Senior Level Grade 21: $138,700 - $174,900
In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
