Our Project Controls Services team is seeking a dynamic Manager to provide day-to-day direction to Systems Integration & Change Control staff within the Business Services organization. The Systems Integration & Change Control team is responsible for maintenance of the CPCC Contract Performance Baseline, including developing and maintaining the scheduling guides and procedures, maintaining scheduling tools, administrating the Primavera P6 and Deltek Cobra databases, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
The Systems Integration & Change Control Manager Reports To The Manager Of Project Controls Services And Manages Department Of Manager/supervisor(s) And/or Exempt Employees:
- Leading the implementation and maintenance of core project control system and processes, including maintaining Primavera P6 and Deltek Cobra system software and functionality
- Managing the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) and leading processes that will ensure the integrity and reliability of the PMB
- Automating tools to support validations, imports and data management
- Supporting baseline change request validation and implementation
- Assisting with development, review and validation, and implementation of cost and schedule baseline
- Providing procedure development, reviews, and comment as applicable
- Supporting development of tools/systems to automate project control efforts
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining processes to assure compliant and efficient operations
- Supporting data analysis for critical validations
- Providing support for what-if scenarios, as needed
- Collaborating with project managers, Field Project Controls staff and DOE
- Providing direction and assessing the performance of assigned employees to include establishment of job expectations and evaluations
- Ensuring cross training and development of skills/capabilities among staff. Mentoring employees to support professional and career development
- Providing review of deliverables developed by group for completeness, quality, and timeliness
- Embracing closure mentality by supporting opportunities to reach outcomes more efficiently by evaluating/updating tools and processes
Basic Qualifications
- Manager Grade 21 - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience plus 10 years of relevant experience.
- Manager Grade 22 - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience plus 12 years of relevant experience.
The higher posted level has a greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience managing or supporting PMB establishment and maintenance
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver strategic initiatives, meet emerging needs, and build effective teams
- Advanced level understanding of Cobra, Primavera P6, Acumen, and Earned Value Management
- Certification in Earned Value Management and/or Project Management
Compensation & Benefits
In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.
Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week):
- Grade 21: $138,700 - $174,900.
- Grade 22: $155,625 - $204,775.
In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
