SL Tennessee is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Support Analyst to support customer requirements, production coordination, shipping, and logistics compliance. This role works closely with customers and internal Manufacturing, Production Control, Material, and Logistics teams to ensure customer requirements are accurately processed and delivered on time.
About the Role
The Customer Support Analyst is responsible for receiving, updating, processing, and uploading customer requirements while maintaining accurate shipment and production information.
The role focuses on customer service, inventory management, production planning, shipping coordination, EDI, MRP systems, warehouse management, and compliance reporting. The successful candidate will proactively identify risks, communicate issues, and develop contingency plans to support customer and manufacturing requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and process customer requirements through EDI and email.
- Process customer releases and aggregate requirements.
- Generate daily shipping plans and provide Production Control with required quantities by part number.
- Maintain daily shipment reports and sequential production uploads.
- Participate in daily Material, Production, and Customer Service meetings.
- Identify potential production or material risks and develop contingency plans.
- Build strong relationships with customer contacts while representing SL's values of Trust, Challenge, and Modesty.
- Prepare BOLs, manifests, truck sheets, and applicable international shipping documents.
- Process system billing transactions after shipments are dispatched.
- Process Advanced Shipping Notices (ASNs) according to customer requirements.
- Monitor customer variance reports and identify changes outside contractual tolerances.
- Communicate capacity, material, and production concerns to internal and external stakeholders.
- Generate next-day shortage lists and compare planned production against schedules.
- Monitor potential supply or production issues and initiate corrective actions.
- Maintain Print on Demand, AIT systems, BOLs, and labeling compliance.
- Ensure compliance with customer-required processes, including MM0G and MP&L.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferably 2+ years of experience in customer service or a related field.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
