What You'll Do
The Performance Assurance Business Office is looking for an Action Officer to facilitate the organization’s performance reporting, monitoring, and tracking of internal and external commitments and deliverables; represent the PA organization on a variety of business and administrative matters; and assist with project management and act as the representative to maintain task-based subcontracts and vendor subcontracts within PA. The Action Officer role reports directly to the PA Business Office Advisor and assists in the smooth operation of the organization’s business functions.
Performance Assurance Action Officer Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the PA Business Office, Performance Assurance Senior Directors, and various executive leadership team members to arrange meetings, events, and programs as directed.
- Assist with the development of presentations for the Board of Managers, Performance Self-Assessment, Organizational Health Review, Significant Events Council, and other high impact senior level meetings.
- Perform a wide array of duties as required by daily operations. This includes managing special projects for the Business Office, ensuring they meet the customer satisfaction goals and objectives; creating and updating metrics reports and dashboards for the PA organization; analyzing and preparing reports on statistical data and information covering various function areas including issues management, environmental health/safety, government deliverables, prime contracting, human resources, programs and budgets, etc.; ensuring internal assessments and actions are completed and submitted per schedule; and assisting where requested.
- Serve as the subcontract technical representative to provide oversight for vendor service subcontracts, basic ordering agreements, and task order subcontracts within Performance Assurance.
- Manage the development and approval process of organizational Statement of Works; approve invoices, track deliverables, monitor and ensure reporting is timely.
- Interface and coordinate with internal organizations, as well as with the Procurement organization and the subcontracting entities, to plan, award, and execute subcontracts in support of complex and multi-discipline objectives.
- Manage contracted project scope through meetings, correspondence, and stakeholder engagement; improve efficiency and management of subcontracts through bid, award, on-boarding, and initial execution; gather and provide feedback to subcontractors to improve overall performance of subcontracts in PA.
- Act as the DC Reviewer and Division Security Officer for the PA organization.

Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- OR Master's degree
- OR 8 or more years of education and/or relevant experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years-of-experience requirements for this posting.
Preferred Job Requirements
- Experience in various business functions which may include managing budgets, subcontract oversight, creating metrics, and developing presentations for senior leadership
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communications skills
- Current or previous experience as an Subcontract Technical Representative
- Ability to conduct formal presentations to plant personnel and other interested parties
- Ability to provide clear, constructive feedback to vendors associated with performance
