Job Title: INF Pipefitter
Hourly Pay Rate: $43.84 - $49.97
What You'll Do
- Lay out, install and repair a variety of piping systems, Drain Waste/Vent (DWV), steam, water, air, industrial gasses, lubricants, caustic, acids, and other corrosive chemicals piping and system components. Work from drawings, sketches, field dimensions and oral instructions.
- Work with a number of different valves, gauges, gaskets, packing materials, and piping materials, including stainless steel, black iron, galvanized, copper, PVC, and glass.
- Perform drain cleaning and camera operations to inspect, repair, and remove obstructions as required for sanitary sewer systems.
- Required to operate drain and sanitary line cleaning such as hand/power augers and jet truck as required.

Minimum Job Requirements
- Requires trade school or 5-year apprenticeship training, high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must have at least five years of applicable experience or equivalent combination in industrial piping, plumbing, or steam fitting work.
- Must be familiar with various industrial pipe bonding techniques including bolting, threading, and compression fittings.
- A basic knowledge of standard building and plumbing codes is preferred.
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment including respirators.
- Must satisfactorily complete all training requirements.
- In addition, the applicant must meet the requirements of DOE O 426.2A: (i.e., High School diploma; or a DOE O 426.2A alternative).

Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.
Position may require entry into Materials Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (HRP). If HRP is required, candidate must complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph, pursuant to 10CFR 709. Medical requirements may apply.
