What You'll Do
- Tracks and monitors the authorization of operations activities in support of the Shift Manager office in Manufacturing Facilities.
- Facilitates the Plan of the Day (POD) in accordance with results of the daily POD meetings conducted by the Shift Manager and the continual updating of facility information as requested by the Shift Manager, Shift Technical Advisor and Operations Manager.
- Maintains administration and data entry of the facility surveillance database and facilitates the distribution and tracking of surveillances.
- Facilitates Shift Manager or Shift Supervisor records maintenance in accordance with Conduct of Operations requirements including documentation of work start authorization, maintenance of facility logbooks, issuance of standing orders and required reading, and maintenance of supporting records for these programs.
- Develops and maintains information databases as required to track the flow of information through the Shift Manager or Shift Supervisor office, including maintenance and administration of the tagging, labeling, and posting program for the facility.
- Updates Issues Management system or TOPIC database for corrective actions assigned to the facility and requested by Shift Manager, Shift Technical Advisor and Operations Manager.
- Supports the Shift Manager office and may serve as principal point of contact for incoming communications when the Shift Manager is not present or is distracted by other duties.
- Supports the Shift Manager office to issue equipment necessary for access to facility areas, such as safety glasses, personal alarm devices, flashlights, etc. for restricted areas.
- Orders materials for office and for facility business as required.
- Supports management assessments and surveillances to assist the FOM staff with tasks associated with the safety basis, operating procedures, and Conduct of Operations.
- Performs other duties as requested by the Operations Manager or Shift Manager.

Minimum Job Requirements
- High school diploma: Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
- OR Associate's degree: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Job Requirements
- Requires demonstrated ability to use word processing and database programs to manage ongoing work activities.
- Requires experience working with records management requirements and procedures.
- Requires good human relations skills and the ability to effectively communicate and interface with personnel from various organizations.
