Job Summary: the Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for the oversight of the spare parts program and performs the physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped/Received
- Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items
- Provides support for maintenance requests from employees, vendors and contractors.
- Examines, stocks, and distributes materials in spare parts inventory and on manufacturing lines
- Attends and collaborates in daily shift huddles
- Order management: coordinates and processes repair transactions, part research, obtains quotes, and confirms inventory accuracy
- Keeps parts storage area clean and organized for production efficiency
- Pulls maintenance budget reports weekly from maintenance software informing maintenance leadership of any issues
- Assists in assessing requests and scheduling preventative/regular maintenance, expediting emergency repairs
- Works with maintenance leadership to identify and select external contracts or vendors
- Ensures that repairs are completed in accordance with internal policies and service agreements
- Serves as a subject matter expert for the Computerized Maintenance Management System
- Supports special maintenance projects as assigned
- Participates in asset ID’s assignment for all equipment and parts
- Performs cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
- Other duties as assigned

- High school diploma
- A minimum of three years of administrative experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with maintenance management software
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly
- Intermediate Excel knowledge, i.e. pivot tables/graphs
- Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Embraces change and responds with a sense of urgency to changing priorities
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to collect and analyze data to identify and recognize trends
- Positive attitude and team player
