Northrop Grumman Space Systems – Launch and Missile Defense Systems has an exciting career opportunity for a Product Support Technical Manager 1 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Huntsville, AL
Essential Functions
The Integrated Product Support Technical Lead will be responsible for supervisory or management responsibilities for more than one integrated support element; provides oversight and management of new development and sustainment of operations technical publication proposals and project execution while also managing teams supporting multiple sites in Huntsville, AL. Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
Basic Qualifications
- Must obtain a STEM B.S. degree in Logistics field or Engineering discipline and 12 years of experience; M.S degree and 10 years of experience (preferred); PhD degree and 8 years of experience or 16 years of experience in lieu of a degree
- Must has an Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Experience across one or more lifecycle phases:
- System Development
- Fielding
- Modernization
- Sustainment
- Must have 8–15+ years supporting DoD acquisition or sustainment programs.

Primary Level Salary Range: $127,000.00 - $190,400.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
