What You'll Do
This position will be responsible for supporting the planned design, implementation, and modification of information technology projects that span across multi-functional organizations in support of supply chain management. Supports project schedules and assists to ensure that technical and scope requirements of the project are met. Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) in the field of information technology and Special Access Program (SAP) to the supply chain organization. Interface with customers and stakeholders to ensure requirements are met from supporting organizations. Adheres to all information technology governance policies and procedures.
- Facilitates the overall integration and data communication of Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules and other platforms are complete and accurate.
- Assists with the implementation of upgrades, bug fixes, improvements, patches, and tests performance after these events.
- Provide data and reports to internal and external customers as requested.
- Serve as SAP access and role administrator for Supply Chain.
- Update Matrix, Terms and Conditions as requested within SAP.
- Develop and maintain training on SAP and PeopleSoft modules to support the buying staff.
- Support end users through the writing of queries and reports, as well as generating databases and spreadsheets.
- Assist users with understanding SAP Hana procurement processes and OneBuy.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the Compliance and Purchasing Organizations.
- Provide input into defining the needs, requirements, and priorities of the functional areas they support and assist with the development, testing, and training activities for systematic changes.
- Support Pantex future state requirements and process improvements of SAP Hana implementation.
- Maintain SAP buyer codes to ensure proper routing of procurements.
Responsibilities
- Understand business processes and the needs, requirements, and priorities of a functional area in order to define system requirements and initiate potential system updates on behalf of a functional area.
- Provide necessary configuration changes as identified.
- Work with technical leads to ensure business needs are met and compliant.
- Document cost/benefits analysis for Planned Functional Scope changes as required.
- Coordinating development activities with the technical leads.
- Serve as SME and provide training to users as needed.
- Develop and maintain test plans and scripts.
- Maintenance of software realization documentation.
- Determine test requirements for individual change requests.
- Perform acceptance testing and maintain testing documentation.
- Determine individual task priority through use of prioritization matrix.

Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Master's degree: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- PhD.
- OR Applicants without a bachelor's degree may be considered based on a combination of at least 13 years of completed education and/or relevant experience.
Preferred Job Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of SAP, with a minimum of 3 years SAP use.
- Good organizational skills, be detailed oriented, possess the ability to multi-task, and work in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to manage, organize, and analyze large amounts of data.
- Good communicator and ability to influence others.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
- Experience generating reports from SAP.
- Past experience with procurement or supply chain operation business processes.
- Served as a project lead across multiple organizations.
- Knowledge related to the acquisition of materials and services in support of project operations and supporting deliverables.
