Boston Government Services, LLC (BGS) is seeking a
System Administrator III Lifecycle Hardware Replacement Support to serve as a senior technical resource supporting the Consolidated Nuclear Services, LLC (CNS) Lifecycle Hardware Replacement mission. This role provides advanced system administration, workflow oversight, quality assurance, and operational coordination to ensure sustained lifecycle execution at scale across the Y‑12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

Responsibilities
- Lead daily workstation lifecycle activities including imaging, configuration, deployment, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and retirement.
- Serve as senior technical point-of-contact for on‑site coordination with CNS system owners, infrastructure teams, and facility operations.
- Ensure compliance with technical requirements, security obligations, QA standards, and document submittal requirements.
- Optimize workflow efficiency to meet CNS’s high‑volume deployment tempo and operational deadlines.
- Provide escalation support for complex workstation or connectivity issues across classified and unclassified enclaves.
- Oversee accurate asset tracking, configuration management, and quality control across all lifecycle tasks.
- Mentor junior staff (System Administrators I/II) and ensure adherence to procedures, safety, and operational discipline.
- Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews related to lifecycle operations, information protection, and security.
Requirements
- Associates or higher degree in a technical field with 6 to 10 years of related experience, or high school diploma and 13 to 19 years of relevant experience supporting enterprise Windows system administration or high-volume workstation deployment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical execution in controlled or secure environments.
- Strong understanding of asset management, configuration control, and Department of Energy (DOE)/National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) compliance frameworks.
- Experience with enterprise imaging, deployment automation, and troubleshooting tools.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills required for engagement with CNS operational teams.
- DOE Q or Department of War (DOW) TS clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience at Y‑12, Pantex, Savannah River Nuclear Site (SRNS), or other DOE/NNSA sites.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow, System Center Configuration Manager / Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM), PXE imaging, or other lifecycle automation platforms.
- Experience overseeing small technical teams or mission‑critical onsite support operations.
Location/Work Arrangement:
- This position is a fully onsite position at Y-12 National Security Complex.

Starting compensation for this role typically
ranges between $114,000 and $138,000 annually. Salary is commensurate with experience relative to the position and may vary based on candidate geographical location.
