What You'll Do
Performs overall Inventory Control functions, analyzes inventory levels, inventory positioning, cycle counts and recommends items for review for disposal. Coordinates with other Supply Chain functions to ensure appropriate routing, scheduling, shipping and storage of goods. Coordinates and performs all facets of inventory management. Submits adjustments for inventory changes to include high value items. Monitors key performance indicators and coordinates across functional work teams to increase effectiveness of Weapon Handing Operation’s initiatives. Monitors and recommends actions for warehouse capacity management. Assures physical resources are available including equipment, tooling, support materials, appropriate work documents. Assures work is performed in accordance with approved procedures. Leads or participates in process improvement and modernization projects. May act for management in preparation of complex reports and correspondence. Performs, and is accountable for, special assignments and studies of various subjects as directed by management. Represents the Department on special committees. Responsible for maintaining a thorough knowledge of applicable Federal, State, Department of Energy (DOE), Corporate and Plant rules, regulations and Plant-wide operating policies and procedures. May recommend, prepare, and maintain operating procedures, systems, policies, and controls pertaining to the assigned area of responsibility. Responsible for developing, coordinating and performing training in area of responsibility. Detailed working knowledge of IPRO and Microsoft Excel preferred.

Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience. Typical experience ranging from 4 to 7 years.
- OR Master's degree with: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience. Typical experience ranging from 4 to 7 years.
- OR Applicants without a bachelor's degree may be considered based on a combination of at least 10 years of completed education and/or relevant experience.
Department of Energy (DOE) Order 426.2A Requirements
In addition to the above requirements, the applicant must also meet the requirements of DOE O 426.2A (High School diploma and 3 years nuclear experience, or a DOE O 426.2A alternative). DOE O 426.2A experience requirements can be satisfied following employment. In the interim, newly hired personnel will not be assigned duties that could impact the safety basis of nuclear facilities. Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.
Position may require entry into Materials Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (HRP). If HRP is required, candidate must complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph, pursuant to 10CFR 709. Medical requirements may apply.
