What You'll Do
Position oversees training implementation for the designated organization(s) as it relates to helping ensure that training requirements, schedules, and records are established and completed.
Position serves as the support point of contact for all training-related questions related to the organization(s) training and qualification programs. This includes problem resolution and helping to determine target audiences for new training and processes.
Position's primary function responsibilities include the following tasks and activities:
- Coordinates and communicates with levels of supervision to support administration of personnel training needs and qualifications.
- Participates in training needs analysis, recommends final approval of the analysis and determines applicable training for required training.
- Generates any needed training reports for use in monitoring the training status of personnel.
- Completes a variety of training forms and processes for assuring compliance with requirements.
- Assist others with development and completion of course documentation/records.
- Coordinates with others to develop/implement/schedule training to meet established due dates.
- Serves as a liaison for internal and external training-related assessment activities.
- Assists personnel with the use of SAP training functions.

Minimum Job Requirements
- High school diploma: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Associate degree: Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.

Requires good interpersonal, teaming, verbal and written communication skills. Requires initiative, flexibility and ability to work both independently as well as within a team environment. Requires the ability to coordinate and perform multiple activities efficiently and with frequent interruptions. Ability to obtain a thorough working knowledge of DOE O 426.2A requirements and associated Pantex procedural documents.
Requires proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products (particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), email and calendar functions.
Requires a general understanding and application of fundamental concepts, practices, policies, and procedures in field of specialization. Requires general knowledge and understanding of business and operations support, resources, systems, processes, and procedures in work area.

Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.
Position may require entry into Materials Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (HRP). If HRP is required, candidate must complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph, pursuant to 10CFR 709. Medical requirements may apply.
