What You'll Do
The Small Purchase Card (P-Card) Administrator will play a critical role in optimizing procurement processes, particularly those related to the P-Card program. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership and customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical guidance, managing P-Card operations, identifying spending trends, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
- Work collaboratively within a team to provide technical guidance and support to Company policy concerning procurement solutions.
- Engage with senior leadership and customers to advocate for and implement current technologies and solutions in the micro-purchase level procurement environment.
- Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex procurement challenges and optimize processes.
- Actively support and promote a culture of teamwork and collaboration within the department.
- Identify and analyze trends in P-Card spending, and formulate recommendations for future procurement processes and efficiencies.
- Assess procurement risks and develop strategies for guided buying within web-based procurement applications.
- Collaborate with internal customers to resolve P-Card-related concerns or issues.
- Confidently implement appropriate sanctions for cardholders who make purchases outside of approved program guidelines.
- Communicate corrective actions clearly and effectively to relevant parties.
- Manage account-related changes within the USBank external portal for overall program administration.

Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Master's degree: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
- OR Applicants without a bachelor's degree may be considered based on a combination of at least 10 years of completed education and/or relevant experience.

Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.
