Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is hiring a Quality Manager for our Radioisotope Power Systems (RPS) Program. Our team works a 4x10 schedule located at our MFC facility with every Friday off. INL’s Space Nuclear Power and Isotope Technologies Division manages the Space and Security Power Systems Facility (SSPSF), located at INL’s Materials and Fuels Complex west of Idaho Falls, where assembly and testing capabilities for Radioisotope Power Systems (RPS) reside. Responsibilities Include: - Oversee the RPS Quality team, consisting of approximately seven individuals, collaborating with Engineering and Operations to ensure high-quality standards. - Develop, maintain, and improve quality policies, plans, and procedures to meet the needs of RPS projects and ensure compliance with INL quality requirements. - Provide leadership and mentorship to quality staff, managing their training, qualifications, and schedules. - Share responsibility on the Material Review Board and Document Review Board. - Ensure compliance with RPS Records requirements and maintain proper documentation. - Manage daily, weekly, and monthly activities to ensure operational efficiency, schedule adherence, and quality control. - Develop routine operational plans and enhance operational processes to improve team performance. - Collaborate closely with project management to set and achieve program goals, resolving issues of moderate to large complexity as they arise. - Assess the quality program for effectiveness and make improvements as needed. - Gain a comprehensive understanding of program and manufacturing activities to anticipate and address future needs.
