Job Description
If you are looking for a new opportunity apply today for an entry level Laborer position at the Naval Nuclear Laboratory. This position will be located at the Naval Reactors Facility in Idaho Falls, ID. Successful applicant would provide general labor support to all NRF organizations, with the initial duties being janitorial, e.g. vacuuming, dusting, trash, and cleaning of restrooms.
Laborer support includes, but is not limited to: janitorial, snow removal, lawn care, furniture moves, radiological controlled work, handling of hazardous materials, D&D work, standing and walking for long periods.
Required Combination Of Knowledge And Skill
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Skills
- Motivated individual with the ability to work in groups and alone, prioritize workload, and previous janitorial and laborer experience.
- Physical demands of this position include being able to lift >40 lbs, climb and perform work on ladders, and operate power tools, e.g.; Sawzall, porta-band, grinder, drill motor.
- Must be able to work in confined spaces, work at heights greater than 4 feet, operate small tractors, and work in inclement weather.
- Candidate will be required to work any assigned shift according to production needs.
- Candidate will be required to qualify as a Contamination worker of radiological work, which requires a written and practical examination.
- Candidate will be required to obtain and keep a DOE government security clearance.

Pay Range
$20.37 hourly
