Job Responsibilities/Duties
*2 Positions*
All-around journeyman, performing all types of electrical work, such as layout of construction wiring, installation, and maintenance of complicated electrical equipment, including switchgear, generating, substation, distribution and control equipment, etc. Take electrical clearance and perform switching operations on high voltage electrical circuits. Perform expert trouble shooting and writing on complicated equipment and/or rewind motors and generators. Direct work of others and perform any assigned electrical work of lesser skill.
*Please note that this position is subject to any project within the supervisory work group*
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent, Journeyman Electrician.
Desired Qualifications
External position: Knowledgeable in current NEC and NFPA70E code requirements.
Compensation & Benefits
In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.
Starting hourly rate ranges from $52.305 to $55.059, depending on previous experience and education per the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Step increases occur every 6 months until pay reaches top of the scale.
In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
