What You'll Do
Continuously assesses, remediates, and maintains the Operational Technology infrastructure for distributed control systems of production equipment. Responsible for vulnerability detection, assessment, and remediation recommendations. Serve as a subject matter expert for OT implementation, troubleshooting, backup management, and disaster recovery.
Essential Job Duties
- Supervise system status and health
- Maintain the system while ensuring downstream systems and processes remain operational
- Serve as point of contact for system troubleshooting, repair, and outage execution
- Revise network infrastructure design for production equipment as site needs evolve
- Maintain system backup capabilities
- Remediate system based on vulnerability priority
- Lead recovery from adverse conditions
- Organize and maintain licensing documentation
- Configure network firewalls on production equiptment in accordance with site requirements
- Maintain user documentation and operational procedures
- Interface with other organizations to update, improve, or remediate system
- Maintain qualifications and training status in accordance with site policies and DOE O 426.2
- Attend all required safety meetings and training
- Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Master's degree: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
- Ten or more years of relevant education, training and/or progressive experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years of experience for this posting.
Preferred Job Requirements
- Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems or related technical field
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with customers and technical personnel across departments
- In-depth understanding of information/operational technology systems in a distributed computing environment
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows Operating systems (Server and Desktop OS)
- Strong understanding of Rockwell FactoryTalk network management tools
- Strong understanding of networking equipment and technology
- Strong understanding of virtualization using VMWare software suite
- Understanding of SQL server systems
- Experience using Veritas Backup Exec Agent
- Experience implementing Active Directory
- Experience using Symantec Endpoint Protection
- Experience deploying and troubleshooting applications across a distributed network
- Typical engineering/science experience ranging from 3 to 7 years
