Position Description
You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the SYSTEMS ACQUISITION GROUP, LOGISTICS INTEGRATION DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. This is the Combat Data Systems Assistant Program Manager for Logistics with the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF)/PMA 235.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
- You will identify all activities involved in providing needed logistical support; to integrate the actions required of each activity into a comprehensive logistics plan in support of or to be incorporated into overall program plans.
- You will monitor progress in meeting the logistics plan and identify the cause and impact of delays or other problems (varying degrees of responsibility for taking actions to prevent or overcome such problems may also be included).
- You will adjust plans for all related actions as required by changes to logistics requirements; and to evaluate plans for and provision of logistical support for feasibility, efficiency, and economy, and to develop alternatives when required.
- You will formulate the support and maintenance concepts and maintainability requirements for assigned weapon system.
- You will determine/decide, based on technical information/feedback/funding availability, the best approach for expending resources to insure an adequate logistics support posture.
- You will provide cost-supporting data and develop tailored application of the elements of life cycle costing based on authoritative knowledge of the unique characteristics of weapon system.
- You will be responsible for acquisition planning and execution including schedule, technical, and fiscal management.
