What You'll Do
Context: Program data is maintained in independent databases but is consolidated in various locations including the NNSA G2 system. With growing programs and more complex plans, integrated data between programs at Y-12 and with NNSA-HQ is necessary.
Role: Single point of contact for integrating data across multiple programs to support Infrastructure Program planning and reporting including G2 management
Responsibilities
- Integrate program information for all programs through the development and management of database tools that pull data from multiple sources for use in a web application developed for program managers and other stakeholders
- Develop, formalize, implement, and continuously improve strategies that enhance the integration of data across multiple data sources
- Generate dashboards for data visualization for internal and external use to improve communication and decision making
- Collaborate with other data analysts, data engineers, and subject matter experts to build and deploy data solutions that address business needs and contribute to achievement of strategic goals
- Integrate program information into G2 to ensure accurate reporting
- Engage with NNSA-HQ to ensure customer expectations are being met across all programs for G2 reporting
- Manage G2 planning modules to ensure alignment with 5-year plans including line items
- Initiate, update, and submit new projects
- Maintain accuracy of projects with the database
- Ensure each Program’s data aligns with NNSA-HQ expectations per approved Program Management Plan (PMP)
- Update monthly G2 data per programmatic requirements
- Develop and submit project baseline change requests and FinPlan moves in G2 in alignment with PMP
- Contribute to site and NSE data integration and data governance efforts

Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- OR Master's degree: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- OR PhD
- OR Thirteen or more years of education and/or relevant experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years-of-experience requirements for this posting.
Preferred Job Requirements
- Strong technical skills in data management including experience with SQL Server and web-based applications.
- Experience with accessing and analyzing data from varying data sources including but not limited to SAP, CIC, and/or CLIPPER.
- Experience with program management, project management, and/or project controls.
- The ability to logically and systematically evaluate program and process information that results in self-directed actions.
- Requires demonstrated ability to effectively interface with internal functional organizations and external customers.
- Demonstrated skill presenting technical information clearly and effectively through oral and written communications; and the ability to perform duties with initiative, independent judgment, and discretion.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact, present, and communicate with CNS Senior Management and NNSA customers on a regular basis.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as with a team and prioritize and manage competing priorities.
