Summary
You will serve as a Human Resources Specialist (Recruitment & Classification) in the Human Resources Division of CNSSC FLD DET MECH PA.

For GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Human Resource Specialist experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying the full range of complex and difficult human resources theories, principles, laws, rules and regulations to assist management in designing, developing, analyzing and implementing HR strategic plans to recruit, develop and retain the talent needed to accomplish the assigned mission. You have experience reviewing past recruitment practices and local labor market conditions to advise on future staffing strategies. You also have experience applying an understanding of complex classification principles and concepts to interpret and apply classification standards/guides to reach sound classification decisions. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Presenting the command to prospective employees by developing and projecting the Command's image on campuses, job fairs or in electronic and print media; 2) Providing assistance to management on the proper assessment of candidates with a focus on appropriate assessment tools (interviews, job simulations, work samples, situational judgment tests, etc.); 3) Providing advice and assistance on complex classification submissions and issues.
