Qualifications
Education and Experience: Education equivalent to graduation from a standard high school and experience equivalent to five years of full-time professional work in compliance/regulation training, field investigations, public outreach, or quality control.
Or:
An associate's degree from an accredited college or university with three years of experience in compliance/regulation training, field investigations, public outreach, or quality control.
Or:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree with one year of experience in a compliance/regulation training, field investigations/public outreach, or quality control.
Necessary Special Qualifications: Possess and maintain a valid vehicle operator's license during employment.
Overview
The Apprenticeship Specialist supports the development, registration, and ongoing success of high-quality Registered Apprenticeship Programs. This role engages prospective sponsors and employers, conducts one-on-one consultations, and provides technical assistance throughout program development and implementation. The Specialist collaborates with sponsors to prepare registration documentation, manages program and apprentice information within the U.S. Department of Labor RAPIDS system, coordinates with local workforce networks, and maintains strong employer relationships. The position also provides ongoing guidance, system support, and program updates to ensure compliance, quality, and long-term program success.
This position requires a minimum of 25% travel statewide.
