Position Overview
Responsible for the execution of all programs and projects that meet the requirements for project management. Provide oversight and leadership to assigned project managers. Position primarily includes the management, planning and tracking of complex engineering and development programs ranging in size. Position reports directly to the Director of Operations and is considered a key leadership member within the company for sustainment and growth.

Someone who has an entrepreneurial mentality for business and product development, mixed with the technical and intellectual curiosity to manage/ lead complex problems in a small team environment. This person is someone who looks at mechanical assemblies and problems and dissects best practices and what he or she could do better during the manufacturing or engineering phases of a product life cycle. This person will be able to provide leadership and guidance on tasks while completing individual tasks too. Lastly, this person will love doing something different everyday while seeing the results of their leadership and guidance firsthand in manufacturing.
Essential Job Functions
· Lead Project Managers in the execution of assigned projects
· Manage, organize, and manage projects
· Lead a cross functional team without direct authority
· Validate customers’ requirements and proposal pricing prior to acceptance of project
· Act as the company’s point of contact with outside organizations as it relates to program meetings and inquiries
· Track management progress on projects to meet deadlines and schedule
· Support management administratively in all projects as necessary
· Develop cash flow projections with input from other team members
· Develop cost estimates for new and existing products and services
· Assist with contract negotiation and administration
· Assist with sales and product related inquiries when required
Accountabilities
· Responsible for tracking and reporting of all qualifying projects to include identifying risk and issues with a plan to overcome with the assistance of operations, production, quality and engineering
· Ensure that the products delivered meet the customers’ requirements to include all quality standards.
· Provide weekly project status to leadership including schedule, risk/issues with mitigation plan, and budget performance.

Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree or relevant business experience
· Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
· Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
· Strong communication skills
· Ability to Interpret bills of material (BOM) and Technical Drawings (TDP)
· Ability to work unsupervised and take initiative as needed
· Good verbal, analytical, organizational and written skills
Desirable Qualifications
· Understanding of government cost standards
· ERP and Material Planning Software Experience
· Cost Accounting Experience
· Aerospace and Defense Experience
· Microsoft Projects or equivalent software skills and training
