What You'll Do
This role is a working supervisor role, where the supervisor will spend a portion of their time performing direct project work and a portion of their time supervising administrative and/or technical activities of assigned personnel and projects to ensure efficient and timely completion of work in accordance with Government and Plant directives.
For The Supervision Portion, The Employee Will
- Supervise activities to meet demands of the Project Management (PM) mission in accordance with assigned organizational authorities and responsibilities.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership for planning, scheduling, forecasting, monitoring, configuration control, analysis, and reporting on multiple scopes of varying size, complexity, and level of risk.
- Ensure team is identifying and tracking changes/potential changes to project scope, ensuring estimates of cost changes and schedule impact are given visibility with PM.
- Supervise integration of cost and schedule data and reporting with company’s accounting and management information systems to facilitate meeting company performance and financial goals.
- Interact with internal stakeholders to ensure proper business input is collected, analyzed, and resulting output distributed, as required.
- Lead organization in a professional "can-do" attitude focused on accomplishing work.
- Foster environment that supports cooperation and cohesiveness between multiple functional groups.
- Set expectations for cohesiveness, collaboration, and teamwork.
- Serve as organizational liaison between subordinates and management, as well as other relevant stakeholders.
For direct charging portion, the position requires demonstrated knowledge and experience of control systems, including Earned Value Management and applicable project management processes; demonstrated oral and written communication skills in reporting to customers and stakeholders; ability to work with personnel at all levels across organization and external stakeholders; ability to balance work tasks and effectively complete planning, scheduling, forecasting, monitoring project performance, change control, analysis, and reporting on multiple scopes of varying size, complexity, and level of risk; and ability to ensure identification and tracking of changes/potential changes to project scope, ensuring estimates of cost changes and schedule impact are given visibility with PM.

Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- OR 13 or more years of education and/or relevant experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years-of-experience requirements for this posting
Preferred Job Requirements
- Working knowledge and understanding of DOE policies, procedures, and requirements in areas associated with project management
- Demonstrated computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Primavera P6, Cobra, SAP, WebEVM (CloudEVM), and/or Acumen
- Demonstrated skills in planning, organization, and schedule compliance
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, a high level of personal motivation, high standards, and the ability to work with the team and support organizations to address/resolve project issues and meet short deadlines
- Knowledge of baseline configuration management, performance measurement, project planning and schedule development, estimates at completion, trends, management reporting, and estimating
- Demonstrated leadership skills
