What You'll Do
Provides Centralized Support To The Mission Engineering (ME) Configuration Management (CM) Team At The Y-12 National Security Complex To Include But Not Limited To
- Under minimal supervision, administers CM program to include Command Media maintenance and revisions, transition of processes to digital format, and normal business interfaces supporting the program
- Supports CM customers with the process of proposing, reviewing, approving, and implementing changes to system configurations
- Ensures accuracy and up-to-date records of system configurations, changes, and related processes within the Computerized Maintenance Management System
- Provides guidance and support to team members for configuration management processes and tools
- Oversees assessments to ensure compliance with DOE Standard 1073 and site CM policy and procedures
- Primary point of contact (POC) for transition of forms-based Change Request processes to electronic Change Request (eCR) processes
- Primary POC for continued development of the Configuration Management SAP Interface

Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree: Minimum 9 years of relevant experience.
- Master's degree: Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
- PhD: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- OR 17 years of relevant experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years-of-experience requirements for this posting.
Preferred Job Requirements
- Four years (minimum) of relevant SAP, database management, data analysis, and report generation experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of the CNS CM program, procedures, and practices (e.g., Use of System List, Master Equipment List (MEL), Grading Work Sheet, Change Package, etc.)
- Demonstrated working knowledge of computer software, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
