At Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo) in Richland, Washington, we are committed to creating a sustainable future for the historic Hanford Site. Our mission is to protect the Columbia River and remediate the Central Plateau by safely managing and reducing some of the most hazardous waste streams and facilities in the Department of Energy (DOE) complex.
The Infrastructure Operations Manager position is required to ensure proper planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and finally closeout of projects performed by offsite contractors (building trades) as well as maintenance ensuring deliverables are met and a quality product is delivered.
As an Infrastructure Operations Manager, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- In charge of construction personnel and contractors to execute facility upgrades across the Hanford Site for a variety of complex projects.
- Manage personnel performing operations and construction activities while managing multiple projects for both firm fixed price contract and time and material including the associated resources.
- Manage and work closely with various project teams including project management, procurement, engineering, operations, planning, and ESH&Q while providing coordination, technical feedback, constructability reviews, and ISMS.
- Execute and strategize under senior management direction in order to resolve issues, make decisions, and adapt.
- Oversee construction field work ensuring all CPCCo policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Performs routine field walk downs of constructions sites and interface with subcontractor management.
- Manages the pre-construction activities and ensure coordination with deployed and matrix resources.
- Defines the construction project objectives, background and expectations required for Constructability Review.
- Function as a Control Account Manager (CAM) for assigned WBS elements, including:
- Monthly EVMS reporting (BCWS, BCWP, ACWP, variances)
- Estimate at Completion (EAC) development and forecasting.
- Variance analysis and corrective action planning.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) principles.
Required Qualifications
- Manager Grade 22 - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience plus 12 years of relevant experience.
- Manager Grade 23 - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience plus 14 years of relevant experience.
The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in electrical, mechanical, field Installation, on a construction project and/or maintenance activities.
- Past experience managing construction/maintenance personnel or construction projects.
- Knowledge in the development and process of construction contracts.
- Buyers Technical Representative (BTR) or Subcontractor Technical Representative (STR) experience
Compensation & Benefits
In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.
Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week):
- Grade 22: $137,150 - $240,000
- Grade 23: $157,700 - $276,250
In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
