This position requires a blend of management/leadership and technical expertise. The work involves managing a team, engaging with stakeholders to define requirements, and performing hands-on development and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate brings hands-on ServiceNow development experience, proven leadership capability, and functional knowledge across core ServiceNow modules. The successful execution of these duties directly impacts the organization's ability to efficiently manage IT services, assets, and security operations, ensuring the platform evolves to meet critical business needs.
Specific Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the administrative Supervisor of the ServiceNow Operations and Development organization.
- Lead, mentor and direct the work of ServiceNow developers including assigning and prioritizing tasks
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, goal and career development, and workload planning
- Partner with CNS customers, product owners, and stakeholders to prioritize approved initiatives and backlog items.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions aligned with platform strategy and best practices.
- Ensure timely and high-quality execution of approved deliverables.
- Maintain platform stability, performance, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Manage expectations and communicate project status, timelines, and deliverables to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Lead and assist in all aspects of software delivery model; Design, Development, Validation, Delivery, Maintenance.
- Interface with IT project management to deliver solutions on schedule and within budget.
- Oversee Discovery, Service Mapping, and CMDB governance processes.
- Ensure a strong and reliable system of record for hardware and software assets.
- Maintain data integrity and compliance through effective CMDB lifecycle management.
- Partner with infrastructure and security teams to ensure accurate configuration and asset visibility.
- Perform hands-on configuration and development work as needed.
- Address complex technical issues, contribute to coding standards, and participates in the development lifecycle.
- Enforce development best practices, update set management, and platform governance controls.
- Provide architectural guidance and technical oversight keeping pace with technical advancements.

Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering/science/information technology discipline: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Thirteen or more years of education and/or relevant experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years of experience requirements for this posting.
Preferred Job Requirements
- Five years or more of experience as a ServiceNow developer with demonstrated expertise.
- Demonstrated management or team leadership experience.
- Ability to balance hands-on contribution with leadership responsibilities.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, integrations (REST/SOAP), and update set management.
- Technical working knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, ITAM (including HAM Pro and SAM Pro), SPM, and SecOps modules.
- Experience with ServiceNow Discovery and CMDB design and governance.
- Experience with Cloud computing.
- Strong communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- ITIL certification.
- Experience leading platform upgrades and enterprise-scale implementations.
- Experience building a ServiceNow platform roadmap and governance framework.
