What You'll Do
The Control Account Manager (CAM) will be supporting the W87-1 LEP program and is the primary contact to oversee the performance, budget, and schedule associated with their assign control accounts by ensuring proper execution of the work, and report progress to the project management team. This position will be matrixed to the W87-1 Program Managers with responsibility for managing the CSA control accounts which requires familiarization of the capability areas associated with manufacturing CSA components.
Has Overall Responsibility For
- Ensures that Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) principles are followed, and the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) is correct, including preparation of Variance Analysis Reports (VARs) monthly to explain deviation in performance from the baseline schedule
- Provide Monthly Earned Value status for each assigned Control Account
- Ensure execution organizations have the correct charge numbers for the work being performed
- Assist the program managers with identifying risks, contingency, and validating cost estimates for anything that prohibits the scope within assigned Control Accounts from being accomplished within the baseline cost and schedule perimeters
- Develops corrective actions and write trends as necessary to address deviations for the PMB
- Leading the development of mitigation strategies for the associated risks throughout the life of the Control Accounts
- Coordinating with Product and Process Engineers to effectively manage assigned control accounts

Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
- OR Master's degree: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- OR PhD
- Twelve (12) or more years of education and/or relevant experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years-of-experience requirements for this posting
Preferred Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a engineering/science discipline
- Typical experience ranging from 7 to 10 years
- Knowledge of Material Capability Areas associated with manufacturing CSA components
- Experience with Earned Value Management systems, risk management and performance improvements such as writing variance analysis and developing risk analysis and mitigation strategies
