What You'll Do
The CNS Earned Value Management System (EVMS) is comprised of an integrated set of processes, rules, procedures, reports, and systems that enhance effective planning and control of project scope, schedule, and budget. As a member of the EVMS Compliance organization, the successful candidate will possess a broad understanding of EVMS processes and requirements and apply their knowledge of EVMS in compliance with the latest ElA-748 standard to provide best-in-class solutions to EVMS issues encountered on major projects. Responsibilities will include:
- Mentor project/program personnel on the proper use of COTS applications and provide guidance to project teams to ensure compliance
- Ensure the successful and compliant completion of EVMS deliverables, including proper execution of baseline change control and systems integration of all key elements of a certified EVMS
- Ensure EVMS compliance by providing guidance to project/program personnel and enforcing compliance
Additional Responsibilities
- Support PM teams and collaborate with other functions including scheduling, contracts, procurement, and central finance.
- Support EVMS policy, process, tools, training, and performance assessment in accordance with EIA 748 32 guidelines
- Provide specialized EVM analysis and develop specialized reports using analytical tools as required
- Perform Earned Value Management System (EVMS) analysis, maintenance, and surveillance reporting and interact with external customers
- Perform surveillance reviews on the CNS Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
- Provide feedback to the projects regarding the adequacy and clarity of EVM System surveillance processes based on daily application of the processes and reporting requirements
- Facilitate the streamlining of processes, tools, and best practices
- Work closely with cross functional teams and departments to develop close working relationships that foster the sharing of best practices to maintain compliance
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action identification, and evaluate project processes leading to recommendations for implementation of corrective actions
- Ensure that the EVM System Description Document and Self-Governance Procedure are being followed
- Recommend a course of action for EVMS technical problems which are not covered by standard practices
- Apply independent judgment in application of the methods and techniques previously learned
- Prepare and present briefings and/or presentations as required

Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience OR
- Master's degree: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience OR
- PhD
