What You'll Do
- Serve as divisional point of contact in various roles that require independent judgment and decision-making
 - Responsible for the oversight and administration of all Issues Management activities
 - May act for management in preparation of complex reports and correspondence and in the performance of administrative functions
 - Responsible for development and publication of appropriate Lessons Learned
 - Manages the Department of Energy (DOE) Occurrence Reporting System process
 - Develops, tracks, and analyzes metrics related to division technical and business processes
 - Responsible for the administrative activities of departments within the Division to accomplish the Division's mission
 - Performs, and is accountable for, special assignments and studies of various subjects as directed by management
 - Represents Pantex Quality Operations on special committees
 - Coordinates the formulation and implementation of new and improved programs and procedures to achieve more efficient and effective administrative records control and reporting
 - As applicable to work assignment, provides prompt, accurate response to management and employee requests for assistance regarding area of responsibility
 - Responsible for improving knowledge, skills and responsibilities in assigned area
 - Performs special duties that require attained specialized skills in area of assignment
 - May conduct training in assigned area of responsibility
 - May develop, coordinate, and implement training systems for the organization
 - May ensure full compliance to DOE Order 426.2A for personnel and tracks the status of personnel qualifications to ensure that personnel are scheduled and attend required training
 - May coordinate the development, delivery, evaluation, and documentation of on-the-job training within the department
 - Provides direction and instruction to Administrative Specialist I, II, and III incumbents in daily work activities, proper procedures, and acts as lead in special projects as required and/or directed
 - Accountable for all direct output assigned and for providing direct output support to his/her manager
 - Responsible for maintaining a thorough knowledge of applicable Federal, State, DOE, Corporate and Plant rules, regulations and Plant-wide operating policies and procedures
 - Recommends, prepares, and maintains operating procedures, systems, policies, and controls pertaining to the assigned area of responsibility
 - Performs other duties as assigned
 - Required to attend and/or successfully complete training classes as determined by the Training and Development Technologies Department, through General Employee Training (Reference DOE Order 426.2A), and Management
 - Participates in worker involvement including input to work planning and methods to identify hazards and controls
 - Understands a worker’s right to stop work when they feel their own or other’s personal safety is jeopardized
 - Attends all required safety meetings and training. Offers suggestions on improvements to the work environment

Minimum Job Requirements
- High school diploma: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience. Typical administrative experience ranging from 10 to 15 years.
 - OR Associate degree: Minimum 7 years of relevant experience. Typical administrative experience ranging from 10 to 15 years.

Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.
Position may require entry into Materials Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (HRP). If HRP is required, candidate must complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph, pursuant to 10 CFR 709. Medical requirements may apply.
