What You'll Do
- Manage a technical team of Engineers and matrixed Information Technology developers to design, implement, and continually improve manufacturing-related systems that span across functional organizations
- Prepare project plans and identify appropriate technical and business resources needed for the team
- Ensures projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet technical and scope requirements of the assignment
- Keep current on advances in the field of information technology particularly with respect to Smart Factory, Smart Electronic Procedures, Production Planning, Material Control, and Manufacturing Execution Systems
- Provide strategic vision as well as technical and analytical guidance to project team
- Interface with diverse stakeholders to ensure requirements are met
- Adhere to all information technology governance policies and procedures particularly with respect to Software Quality Assurance

Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience and minimum 5 years of relevant supervisory/management experience
Preferred Job Requirements
- In-depth experience with SAP Production-related functions such as Manufacturing Execution (ME), Production Planning (PP), Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (MII), and Quality Management (QM)
- Experience with the diverse body of Y-12 manufacturing and quality activities including weapons production/dismantlement, nuclear material supply, and salvage/recovery
- Experience with data virtualization and visualization tools
- Experience with NextAxiom Dynamic Work Execution Platform (DWEP) for use in automated forms and procedures
- Experience with Y-12 Nuclear Material Control and Accountability business processes and systems
- Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification encouraged
