Job Description
The University of Tennessee is pleased to announce an immediate opening for a post-doctoral research associate. The position will focus on the materials processing of uranium materials and alloys. Familiarity with vacuums systems and various materials characterization tools such as x-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy, optical microscopy are desired. The candidate will be advised by Philip D. Rack at the University of Tennessee and scientists at the Y-12 National Security Complex.
This is a grant-funded position and is contingent upon the continued funding of the grant.
