Savannah River National Laboratory is hiring interns for summer 2025. Applied Science Professional Internships in a Research Environment (ASPIRE) provide opportunities for undergraduate students to assist laboratory staff in a variety of operations including one or more of the following: operations and facilities engineering support, chemistry, communications, material characterization/testing, data acquisition, and computational science. Opportunities are available for a 10-week period.
Positions provide a professional learning experience that offers meaningful, practical work related to a student’s field of study or career interest. Positions are typically a 10-week period during the summertime at the laboratory location in Aiken, SC.
Responsibilities
Successful Candidates Will:
- Possess ability to work effectively on a team.
- Able to communicate well in straight-forward situations.
- Completes routine and repetitive tasks where tasks are straightforward.
- Works safely with particular attention to quality.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 and be a full-time undergraduate student at an accredited four-year college or university, or within one year after finishing a degree program. Pursuing a bachelors level degree in science, engineering, communications, general business, and human resources.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
