Job Description
Come support the enduring technical supremacy of the US Navy! In the Examination Recapitalization Program, we’re developing the next generation of infrastructure to perform examinations and testing on spent nuclear fuel and irradiated materials. Our unit, Exams Projects, is responsible for developing a hot cell laboratory and integrating it with outfitting equipment. We work closely alongside our Program stakeholders, Naval Reactors, and our Architect/ Engineering firm.
We're looking for an experienced engineer to provide technical leadership and contribute to NEAP detailed design deliverables, such as waste and radiological controls strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing integrated and value-based solutions for complex, multi-faceted problems -- considering Project constraints (e.g. cost and schedule), customer priorities, and stakeholder/ end-user inputs.
Required Combination Of Knowledge And Skill
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field and 6 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field and 4 years of relevant experience; or Currently or previously Shift Supervisor Part I qualified; or EDO qualified and 2 years EOOW qualified in the Nuclear Operations Program; or 3 years SRE qualified and Water Instructor and Refueling Facility Area Refueling Engineer and Fuel and Barrier Shift Supervisor (ECF only); or SRE qualified and 6 years of experience.

Pay Range
$92,900.00 - $145,200.00 annually
