Job Description
Savannah River National Laboratory is seeking an experienced Administrative Advisor to join our team at our new Advanced Manufacturing Collaborative (AMC) facility – Advanced Manufacturing Collaborative - Savannah River National Laboratory . In this role, you will support leadership and staff with tactical and strategic program initiatives, as well as support the AMC’s day to day activities.
This position performs clerical/administrative or specialized support tasks for multiple research organizations housed at the AMC. Uses administrative, data organizing and coordination skills to complete tasks. Provides administrative services by implementing administrative systems, procedures, and policies; maintaining rapport with customers, managers, and employees; resolving customer and employee problems.
Responsibilities
- Serves as the point of contact for visitors entering the AMC.
- Provides general administrative assistance, such as maintaining management calendars and maintaining building conference room calendars.
- Assists with new employee onboarding.
- Assists with hosted events to include but not limited to: Coordinating meals, printing and displaying name placards, and other printed materials.
- General building support
- Develop teaming relationships with all organizations to facilitate effective and efficient processes resulting in successful completion of mission objectives.
- Creates internal alliances outside of the immediate team.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS/BA +4-6 yrsadministrative experience working in an office environment.
- For ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, US Citizenship is Legally Required
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to manage competing priorities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Exceptional communication skills
