I bring more than nine years of experience in nuclear shipyard operations, radiation protection, technical operations, quality control, and safety, along with my current experience as a U.S. Navy Physical Science Technician supporting the Navy Dosimetry Center.
In my current role, I support a high-volume dosimetry operation serving more than 250 global clients and processing over 300,000 dosimeters annually. My responsibilities include dosimetry processing, equipment calibration, statistical process control, troubleshooting, data verification, quality control, and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of official radiation exposure records.
My previous experience with Newport News Shipbuilding further developed my ability to operate in demanding technical and safety-focused environments. I have served as a Radiological Control Technician Monitor 3, Radiation Safety Analyst, and Shield Survey Engineer, providing oversight of high- and low-risk radiological work, conducting and coordinating surveys, reviewing technical work documents, supporting audits, identifying deficiencies, implementing corrective actions, and training and mentoring technical personnel.
I am a results-oriented professional who takes pride in accuracy, procedural compliance, safety, and clear communication. I am comfortable working independently or as part of a cross-functional team and have experience communicating with engineering, production, trades, leadership, customers, and technical personnel. I also bring military experience as a U.S. Army Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Specialist, along with a Secret security clearance.
