About
I have more than 30 years of experience developing, integrating, and supporting software and control systems in industrial and manufacturing environments. My background includes PLC programming, HMI/SCADA systems, industrial communications, instrumentation, motion control, system integration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and production support.
I have worked with multiple PLC platforms, with my strongest experience in Allen-Bradley/Rockwell systems, including ladder logic, function block, and structured text. I also have extensive software development experience with C#/.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server, Oracle, Visual Basic, C++, and Python.
Throughout my career, I have taken projects from requirements and system design through implementation, startup, troubleshooting, and ongoing support. I have also managed programmers and technical projects and worked closely with electrical, mechanical, controls, operations, and IT personnel to solve complex industrial problems.
My combination of hands-on controls experience, industrial software development, systems integration, troubleshooting, and technical leadership allows me to approach I&C projects from both the controls and overall system perspective.
