About
My responsibilities include developing and revising policies and procedures; monitoring organizational practices; coordinating accreditation and regulatory-readiness activities; reviewing documentation; investigating grievances, incidents, and allegations of misconduct; identifying substantiated and unsubstantiated findings; recommending corrective actions; and monitoring follow-up activities to reduce risk and prevent recurrence.
I collaborate with executive leadership, clinical personnel, medical providers, billing staff, housing personnel, and outside stakeholders to address compliance concerns and promote consistent practices throughout the organization. I also assist with staff education, competency development, internal reviews, quality assurance and performance-improvement activities, regulatory reporting, and preparation for audits, surveys, and certification reviews.
In this position, I serve as a neutral and accessible resource for employees and clients who report concerns. I help protect client rights, confidentiality, safety, and access to person-centered services while promoting accountability, ethical decision-making, accurate documentation, and continuous organizational improvement. My role requires balancing regulatory expectations with the agency’s mission of providing compassionate, recovery-focused services to individuals and families affected by substance-use and mental-health disorders.
